Molly Bloom
THE INITIAL CONDITION
1
The double rod pendulum,
A looping chaos,
Trajectory in its solutions.
Basket weaving present,
Determining the future.
Can certainty be tolerated?
The state in which we exist,
Depending on that joyous
Lyapunov time.
Times it by three.
The sensitivity
Of our X positions
Varies wildly.
The stochastic equation.
Just break through.
Just break through.
2
The darling Lorenz equation,
A significant change,
A difference,
At X or Y.
With our limited conditions,
Rusty information,
No predictions,
No intersects,
Initial separation,
Leads us nowhere.
That K-system,
Is a nowhere iteration,
It leads us to nowhere, everywhere.
3
Scattered, the logistic map is arbitrary.
Those regular cycles,
Bring animation,
Perhaps laughter,
A break from stasis.
Those wonderful, strange attractors,
The ones that haunt us,
Clouds of vertical space,
Or phase space,
In which silence occurs.
Silence is a dimension,
Through which we occur.
Top to tail dimensionality,
Our fractal strangeness,
Breaking forth from lips,
In strange attraction.
Perpetual motion.
dx, dz, dy, dt.
The system state is true.
Exhibit system flaws.
Exhibit system flaws.
The graph of us is infinite.
Be non-linear,
The graph of us is infinite.
