RADIO ADVENTURES IN AGAPE
love that eats its own
agendas tuned and stapled to an aeolian harp
singing birth is precarious as murder
it absolves us
placing posters
the precious everywhere of your goodbye
asks what you expect from this static
crashed pronoun on an unknown beach
where God plays at drowning
‘throw him
a rubber ring’
this is the stones making their squish crush sound
underfoot fire reflects flashes varnished crying sirens centre
water forgets your fingers’ imprints
not so very unique
the martyred font
of you who were & are & are not and/or true
DER DOPPELGÄNGER
a window’s frosted thought
electric candles burning
inside wishes made
fading to mirror
the past a tune held just
unharmonised
vulnerable
unwilling to tell beyond itself
an icy thread glistens fixed
to embarrassments / hurts that blurt
oversized beads puncturing
a cantabile rosary
things their pater nosters
must not be sung
or they become real
red stains on a winter doorstep
boarded up graffiti
